What might the future of movies look like?
Forget 3D. Movie studios are already looking towards the next technology that will immerse audiences in their films: virtual reality. Twentieth Century Fox is experimenting with the technology for The Martian - this piece looks in-depth at what their innovation lab is up to. Maybe by the end of the decade Star Wars Episode IX will come in 2D, 3D and VR versions?
