You are the senior leader who helps push our clients to think bigger and better, producing best-in-class strategic, creative and often integrated marketing and PR work. Across the agency, you are one of our go-to experts on best practice PR strategy.
What you do
For our clients…
- Be a trusted, consultative advisor to your clients – proactively checking in with them regularly to provide senior counsel
- Drive the quarterly planning of work and set the strategy across your accounts, handling resource needs and ensuring smooth delegation across the team
- Lead and manage a portfolio of clients, with responsibility for the smooth running of the accounts and uncovering ways to go above and beyond
- Liaise with clients 1:1, understand their broader responsibilities, provide consultancy, develop strong relationships, and identify client development opportunities
- Responsibility for client finances and actively retaining and growing existing clients: providing pipeline and revenue updates, drafting proposals, and proactively developing and pursuing growth plans
- Lead and develop the strategy and sign off scopes of work for client accounts
- Overseeing team activity and ensuring a high standard of work by supporting junior team where needed
- Engage and actively add to our full service offering where appropriate to ensure our clients are receiving a best-in-class experience
- Focus on new business and growth opportunities with the aim of producing award-winning work
For our team…
- Be a day-to-day lead in your division – visible, vocal and in touch with absolutely everyone on the team to ensure you can manage them
- Oversee team capacity and plan resource to produce best-in-class work for clients
- Guide and mentor junior members of the team as well as developing career plans and undertaking coaching for any direct reports, leading by example and sharing best practice advice
- Work as a team player in the agency and identify opportunities for creative, editorial and planning to be involved wherever needed
- Be a leading player in updating and improving working practices alongside director / team lead

- Be a trusted and established senior leader in the agency
- Use your PR & marketing knowledge and skillset to actively suggest new ideas and grow Harvard’s integrated client portfolio
- Identify, develop and lead PR-led new business opportunities
- Contribute to developing case studies of client work for the Harvard website, creds presentations
- Contribute to and proactively share Harvard’s own marketing and social output
- Help develop and deliver our training programme – Never Stop Learning
- Approach the development of your role with enthusiasm and commitment
- Work with the PR Leadership team to create a positive, inclusive culture at Harvard
